Staffing Agency President Discusses Revenue Blocks

Ken Sundheim, president and founder of KAS Placement, a recruiting firm that also helps smaller companies with sales force realignment, a tactical way for smaller firms to quickly gain mass amounts of market share, was recently featured on Business Insider discussing revenue blocks small businesses must overcome. Sundheim regularly writes for Business Insider, a website that aggregates financial, entertainment, green tech and digital industry stories.

In the article, Sundheim discusses his own experience in the staffing industry and lessons he needed to learn to succeed.

“I started my business from a studio apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and continued to grow it when my wife and I moved to a larger place on the East Side,” Sundheim says in the article. “But a Manhattan apartment with the attendant space restrictions it still very much was.

“I decided to prioritize growing our online presence and business base rather than investing in office space before it made logistical sense. But I was quickly busy enough that I couldn’t run the business on my own, and that meant bringing on employees.”
