Arizona Staffing Firm Reinvents Itself

When the recession hit, Momentum Specialized Staffing owner Michael Hayes took a long, hard look at his business to ensure he didn’t become one of the countless businesses that went under, according to a recent Arizona Republic article.

Hayes focused much of his energy on social media and is in charge of about 80 percent of blog and social media content.

That strategization is what has allowed the business to be successful. For example, Hayes also occasionally turns down requests from employers because the job qualifications they want in an employee do not match the compensation they are willing to pay, he says in the article.

“Businesses think it’s really easy to hire people, but one of out 10 (candidates) is going to be worth your time, and people aren’t going to work for free,” he says in the article.
