Staffing Firm Plants Trees For Placements

A Florida-based staffing firm has taken on a community project tied to its staffing placements.

Healthcare Support Staffing, Inc., a Florida-based national healthcare recruiting and staffing firm, has committed to plant one tree for every staffing placement made in 2012 through a new partnership with social change organization Green Air Project. Totals are calculated monthly and then new trees are planted.

The partnership, which started Jan. 1, has already proven to be successful. The firm announced it planted 201 trees for the month of January.

“We are happy to be partnered with Green Air Project,” Healthcare Support Staffing CEO Don Langmo said. “At Healthcare Support Staffing, we believe that it is important to have a positive impact on our environment and this partnership is helping us do that.”

The project can be tracked on the GreenAirProject.org website by entering verification code 233184.
